Mad Bad Ads

From very early ages there use to be smart people who use to make money by conning people, we call them thugs. In today's world we have similar people who use there creativity to con people , make them consume stuff not because of its usefulness or quality but they create an so much hype around that product , we start thinking that how we survived without it for so long.
I wonder how a soda making company becomes one of the biggest company in the world.Then when I see its ads and one of the talented actor t elling the world that by opening this soda we open the world of happiness. For many people this sounds childish but more than half of the world get convinced such statements.
I see lot os Ads where some actor wearing lab coat posing as doctor giving medical advice to general public that kids will grow double there size if they drink that powder. To that my comment is I think now we got to know how hanumanji use to grow double or n times in his size , oh there product is so old.
I see somebody saying on television that by eating rice you will be less active and not fit. Fitness has nothing to do with size . There two colleagues of mine one with a pot belly another a lean mean person. Pot belly guy climbs sinhgarh mountain twice a week without rest, lean mean guy has never climbed his stairs ,longest walk for him in a day is when he walks from his desk to car which he park in the same building just 1 floor down. By seeing these ads there is lot of peer pressure on teenage kids to stay slim. Now a days slim is in , kid do dieting in very early age
to look attractive , when they should be eating a lot to have a good growth. My cousin-in-law lost her hair just becauseof this dieting rat race.
Some of the ads gives racist comments where cream manufacturer claims that by using his cream your colour will change from dark brown to light brown (99% of indian never beleives that we all are brown , they want to segregate themselves as dark or fair ). This will open make you more lovable person and will open up flood gates of opportunity i.e. they can instantly becomes actress, air hostess, girl friend , wife or object of attraction for half of the city.
In this rat race of conning people a new dimension has ben addded when these so called celebrities (I am gaints words celebs and fans , it discriminate betwen 2 people and fan is such a derogatory word ) join the con game by appealing to there fans that they should by particular soap or oil or shampoo. I remember when a kid was asked to recognized a renowned bollywood star , he sweetly said "I know him he sells navratan oil"
